F22 Forged Bar Characteristics
The F22 is a low alloy steel that contains nominally 2.25% chromium, this grade is known for its through hardening capabilities. F22 forged steel is predominately used in the oil patch for wellhead applications, and is often the base material for cladded components. F22 NQT 18/22 is stocked to 75KSI minimum yield and hardness at 22 HRC max for Nace compliance.
