We distribute round steel bar in alloy, carbon, and stainless steel grades. Our inventory is available in diameters up to 34 inches and can be cut to length. We stock forged steel round bars in rolled, normalized, quenched, and tempered and normalized quenched and tempered conditions. All our products are tested to API 6A 21st Edition PSL 3 and ANST requirements by ISO/IEC 17025 certified laboratories with EN 10204 certified Material Test Reports provided with every product.

Forged bar in round and square configurations is used across oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, military, and energy production applications.
Alloy steel is more responsive to heat treatment than carbon steel and is often quenched and tempered for higher strength and toughness, common in automotive, refinery, and machinery applications. Carbon steel contains up to 2.1 percent carbon and is classified as low, medium, or high carbon depending on that content, with uses spanning structural shapes, gears, and crankshafts.
8630 MOD is a low alloy steel commonly used in wellhead equipment such as hangers and blowout preventers. It's typically stocked to 85 KSI minimum yield and 22 HRC max hardness for NACE compliance, and is considered an upgrade over 4130 for retaining tensile and impact properties deep into the bar.
4340 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel known for toughness and strength in relatively large sections. It's generally supplied hardened and tempered in the 135 to 160 KSI tensile range and is often specified where other alloy steels lack the hardenability for the strength required.
F22 is a low alloy steel containing nominally 2.25 percent chromium, known for its hardening capability.
420 stainless is corrosion and heat resistant with 12 percent chromium, commonly used for bushings, dental and surgical instruments, and valve and pump parts.
