Super Alloy Forging Service
At Cromdane Steel, Inc. we offer 625 and 718 inconel super alloys. 625 inconel, a nickel-chromium-molybedenum alloy with an addition of niobium that acts with the molybdenum to stiffen the alloy’s matrix and thereby provide high strength without a straightening heat treatment. Used in chemical processing, aerospace and marine engineering, pollution control equipment and nuclear reactors. UNS N06625.718 inconel, a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy also containing significant amounts of iron, niobium, and molybdenum along with lesser amounts of aluminum and titanium. Used in gas turbines, rocket motors, wellhead components, down hole, sub surface safety valves. UNS N07718.
